Kind Animal Services provides professional in-your-home pet care for pet parents that worry about their pets while they are gone. Animals receive low-stress care in their home. At home is where pets are generally going to be happiest in their familiar environment. Most sittings include medicating, feeding meals, grooming, or household maintenance such as watering plants and getting your mail. You get so much more from Pet Sitting services than you would when you take your pet to a boarding facility.
KAS pet professionals are trained in low-stress care and handling procedures. All pet sitters complete their FearFree Pet Sitters certification. Many pet parents don’t consider the worst-case scenario, but KAS has a plan for most situations. What happens if your solo sitter can’t make a visit? KAS works as a team to support your pet care needs no matter what. Before and services begin we include a free meet & greet with your primary KAS pet sitter. If you have any concerns about your pet sitter at any stage in the process we encourage you to reach out. Your pets and home is our top priority and we want to make sure we address your concerns right away.
Pet Care Process
2. Review, revise, and approve estimate to lock in your service schedule
3. Schedule complimentary meet & greet with your assigned Pet Sitter. Plus exchange 2 copies of your house key.
4. Receive invoice and pay deposit by due date. (Due date is determined by demand at the time of your sitting.)
5. Leave with confidence that your pets are in good hands. Receive regular reports and photos while you are gone.
6. Let us know that you made it home safe! If you don't you might have a surprise visit and extra fees. Pay the reminder of your invoice within 5 days after returning home.
Sitting Service Options
Drop-In Visit
Consists of providing the animal(s) with their basic needs. Food, medication, attention, water, and a clean living environment. Time allotted to this service may fluctuate to accommodate for care needed depending on the number of animals in the home.

Does not include: extra time walking or playing with animals outside of their basic needs including short outings to potty, stretch, minimize stress, and maintain good health. Of course, we encourage Pet Professionals to go above and beyond this service outline and most of our Sitters do.
Add-Ons:
Level up the standard drop-in visit to add additional time for enrichment activities and care.

$20 + Take a Hike (dogs only)
Overnight Stay
This visit is stretched from 9:00 pm - 7:00 am. The visit can include meals or medications that fall within that time frame. It’s a graveyard shift for your Pet Care Professional will try to be aware of your pet’s needs throughout the night. This service is recommended for your puppies or geriatric dogs that need care in the middle of the night.

KAS Pet Care Professionals (aka Pet Sitters) are qualified and vetted individuals. Each Pet Care Professional must pass a background check, are screed for pet care knowledge and experience, and finally they are certified through FearFree Pet Sitters certification. Pet Care professionals are a team so should something terrible happen that deems your pet sitter unable to continue care for your pets our other pet sitters are standing by.
